Description

American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN to support an ED Clinical Diagnostic Unit, requiring BLS, ACLS, a TX or compact RN license, and at least 2 years of experience.

Details

Work in the Emergency Department supporting admission holds and the new Clinical Diagnostic Unit (CDU)
CDU is an 8-10 bed telemetry unit
13-week assignment with shift hours 6:45 PM-7:15 AM
Rotating weekends required

Requirements

Active TX or compact RN license required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

Provide telemetry-level nursing care supporting ED admission holds and CDU patients
Navy blue scrub top and bottom required, with Ascension-branded shirt worn on payday Fridays
Holiday coverage required for 2 major holidays
Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from the facility
