Description

American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for an Emergency Department/Clinical Diagnostic Unit position requiring at least 2 years of experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

Work in the Emergency Department supporting admission holds and the Clinical Diagnostic Unit (CDU)
CDU is an 8-10 bed telemetry unit
Night shift schedule from 6:45PM-7:15AM
Rotating weekends required
Holiday coverage required for 2 major holidays

Requirements

Active TX or compact RN license required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

Provide telemetry-level nursing care supporting ED admission holds and CDU patients
Navy blue scrub top and bottom required, with Ascension-branded shirt worn on payday Fridays
Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from facility
First-time travelers may be considered for this position
