Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications and Epic experience.

Details

• Surgical Recovery unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 5x8s, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Call requirement of 8 hours or less
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 5 years of experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred

Additional Information

• Delivers coordinated nursing care using the nursing process for assigned patients
• Supervises and directs activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinates care across disciplines
• Collects and analyzes patient assessment data to determine diagnoses and care priorities
• Develops and implements care plans, evaluates patient progress toward outcomes
• Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver safe, humane, and healing care
• Provides education to patients, families, and team members
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Delegates and coordinates duties among healthcare team members
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
• Candidates with a prior adverse licensure action will not be considered
• No radius restriction; local candidates accepted at the same rate as traveler candidates
