Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology RN for a day shift role requiring IR experience and an active FL or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in the Interventional Radiology/Special Procedures unit of a hospital
- 6-bed unit with 19 staff members including RNs and techs
- Patient ratio of 1:1
- Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with on-call coverage after hours Monday through Friday
- Uses GE equipment and Maclab EMR system
- Performs neuro interventional and interventional radiology procedures
- Required to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees
Requirements
- Active FL or compact RN license required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Interventional Radiology required
- Interventional Radiology procedure experience preferred
- No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
- Two professional references required for Florida assignments
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care during interventional radiology and neuro interventional procedures
- Positive, team-oriented personality is a strong fit for this unit
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
