Description
American Traveler is hiring a Labor and Delivery RN for a night shift assignment requiring 2 years of experience and California RN licensure.
Details
- Labor and Delivery unit within an acute care, Magnet-designated hospital
- Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:00
- Patient ratio of 1:2
- No weekend requirement
- No on-call requirement
- Floating required between like units and potentially sister facilities
- Uses Epic for charting
- Block scheduling accommodated at manager discretion
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
- Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Advanced, and LA City Fire Card
- Epic charting experience required
- Skilled in Labor and Delivery management and circulating for C-sections
- Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required
- Pending license not accepted
Additional Information
- Provide comprehensive nursing care within the Labor and Delivery unit, including circulating for C-sections
- Scrubs may be any color; L&D and OR scrubs provided
- Free parking available on-site
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- All RTO requests must be submitted upfront at time of consideration; post-offer RTO changes may not be accommodated
- Facility may cancel shifts up to once per two-week pay period
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Previous Providence facility employees must wait at least 3 months before returning and must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
- Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius to qualify for travel rate
