Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a 13-week assignment requiring a CA RN license, EPIC experience, and prior travel experience.

Details

• Med/Surg Tele unit caring for adult and geriatric patients
• Patient ratio of 1:5 for days, nights, and weekends
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM), Monday-Friday
• Float required
• Weekend coverage required as needed

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required in-hand at time of application (EMSA not accepted)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required in-hand at time of application
• Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required and must be noted in work history
• Two supervisor references required at time of application
• Prior travel nursing experience required

Additional Information

• No first-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Returning staff must have been separated from the facility for a minimum of 1 year to be eligible as a traveler
• No RTO permitted within the first two weeks of the assignment, with a maximum of 7 days of RTO preferred per 13-week contract
• Manager may or may not conduct an interview prior to placement
