Description
American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a 13-week assignment requiring an active CA RN license, EPIC experience, and at least one year of telemetry nursing experience.
Details
- Work in the Telemetry unit of a hospital setting
- Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 0700-1930, Sunday through Saturday
- Floating required
- Weekend coverage required
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required in-hand at time of application (EMSA not accepted)
- Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (CPI preferred)
- Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care telemetry experience required
- EPIC EMR experience required and must be noted in work history
- Two supervisor references required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
Additional Information
- Provide cardiac monitoring and emergency response for telemetry patients, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Skills may include IV therapy, central/peripheral line care, wound care, and management of cardiac drips without titration
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travelers
- Previous employees must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year to be eligible to return as a traveler
