Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry position requiring an active CA RN license and EPIC experience.

Details

• Work in the Telemetry unit of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Required to float between two campus locations, with primary assignment to a specific unit

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required in-hand at time of application (EMSA not accepted)
• Current certifications required in-hand: ACLS, BLS (CPI and NIHSS preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in telemetry specialty within the past 2 years required
• Phlebotomy and IV therapy skills required
• EPIC EMR experience required and must be documented in work history
• Two supervisor references required

Additional Information

• Prior travel nursing experience required to be considered for this position
• Must be gone a minimum of 1 year before returning as a traveler if previously employed at this health system
• No RTO permitted within the first two weeks of the assignment
• Maximum of 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract is highly preferred
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as travelers
