Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week day shift assignment requiring 2 years of experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg unit (Floor 3) with 36 beds
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Day shift schedule, 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• No call responsibilities
• No floating required
• No 48-hour shifts
• EMR: MEDHOST

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required
• Travel experience preferred
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of start
• No work history gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Scrub color required: Royal Blue
• RTO requests must be submitted in advance and limited to less than 1 week
• RTO blackout applies to holidays with a maximum of 3 days allowed
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Local candidates will not be considered
• Previous permanent staff at any CHS facility within the last 2 years are not eligible for this travel position
