Description
American Traveler is hiring a Day Surgery/PACU RN for a 13-week assignment requiring 2+ years of day surgery experience and an active TX or compact RN license.
Details
- Outpatient Surgery department, Day Surgery/PACU unit
- Variable shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- 13-week assignment length
- Call requirements apply
- Floating as needed
- Weekend requirements to be discussed during interview
- Uses Meditech documentation system
Requirements
- Active RN license (TX or Compact); temporary license not accepted
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of Day Surgery experience required
- Experience caring for adult, adolescent, and geriatric patient populations
- Meditech experience preferred
Additional Information
- Prepare patients for surgical procedures
- Facility provides scrubs
- No local candidates accepted; must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
- First-time travelers may be considered
