Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring combined L&D and Mother/Baby experience with AWHONN Beginner and NRP certifications.
Details
- Labor and Delivery unit with combined Mother/Baby patient population
- Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 18:00-06:00)
- Weekend rotation required
- Floating within scope required as facility needs dictate
- Meditech Expanse EMR used, prior experience strongly preferred
Requirements
- Active RN license (IN state or compact) required in-hand prior to start
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Beginner required; RNC-OB preferred
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby settings required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Strong charting proficiency, time management, and communication skills with providers
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care across combined Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby units
- Local candidates accepted at local rate within an 80-mile radius
- Call-outs restricted to no more than one week
- First-time travelers considered depending on experience level
- Indicate holiday availability at time of consideration
