Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg-Tele RN for a night shift position requiring at least 2 years of specialty experience and an active IL license.

Details

21-bed Med/Surg-Tele unit caring primarily for patients with heart failure and COPD
Night shift schedule with 10-hour shifts, 4 shifts per week
Every other weekend required
Floating within scope to similar units may be required
No on-call requirements

Requirements

Active IL RN license required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required
Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg-Tele specialty experience required
Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred
2 professional references from similar recent experience required

Additional Information

Provide nursing care to Med/Surg-Tele patients within a 21-bed unit
Must have a verifiable permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility with no exceptions
Local candidates not accepted due to radius rule
RTO must be submitted with candidate profile
