Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery/OB RN for a 13-week assignment requiring an active HI RN license and at least 3 years of L&D experience.

Details

Covers Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units
Unit includes 8 labor beds and 18 postpartum beds
Cares for laboring mothers, assists with delivery, and provides immediate newborn and post-delivery maternal care
Uses Meditech computerized charting system and GE/Centricity fetal monitoring system
Variable schedule with both day and night 12-hour shifts (36 hours weekly) after the first week of orientation
Scheduled to take 12-hour call at least once per month
No guarantee of hours or shift preference

Requirements

Active HI RN license required by start of assignment, with application upon offer acceptance if not already held
Minimum of 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
Current BLS and NRP certifications required
STABLE and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications recommended

Additional Information

Must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to assignment start, requiring arrival in Hawaii by the Thursday before a Monday start to attend a Friday morning appointment
COVID-19 vaccination compliance required
