Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a weekend-only assignment requiring ARRT CT certification and BLS.

Details

Clinic setting performing CT scans for diagnostic purposes
Weekend shifts only: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Patient population includes infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Requirements

ARRT CT and ARRT R certification required (license required if applicable)
Current BLS via AHA required
Fit test required

Additional Information

Responsible for performing CT scans with and without contrast within established guidelines
Maintains high standards of patient care during CT scans and assists with patient discharge
Orders and maintains stock of supplies
Administers medications and manages pain appropriate to patient age group
Demonstrates knowledge of safety measures and developmental concepts across the patient lifespan
Candidates with pending license may be considered
Prior permanent employees of the facility are not eligible for this travel position
Maximum of 7 days of requested time off during the assignment
Accepts local candidates within 60 miles of the facility at a reduced rate
