Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring ARRT (CT) certification and BLS.

Details

• Radiology/Imaging unit with 18 beds and a team of 8 staff including radiologists, radiology techs, ultrasound techs, MRI techs, and CT techs
• Patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 depending on patient stability
• All GE equipment including MRI units, scanners, cameras, x-ray, and fluoroscopy
• Meditech EMR
• Performs CT scans, MRI, body scanning, and X-rays to create diagnostic images of bones, organs, and tissues
• Night shift schedule Sunday through Wednesday, 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM

Requirements

• ARRT (CT) and BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• 2+ years of experience preferred
• Experience with GE equipment and Meditech EMR strongly preferred
• RT(T) and ASRT credentials preferred
• FASRT credential a plus
• Strong communication, medical, and anatomical knowledge with mechanical aptitude
• Ability to multi-task and work with a variety of physicians, radiologists, and patients

• Recently added a new state-of-the-art computed tomography scanner
• Navy blue scrub color required
• Does not accept local candidates; 50-mile radius rule applies
