Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift assignment requiring 1+ year of CT experience and GE equipment proficiency at a Level II Trauma facility.

Details

• Diagnostic Imaging department at a Level II Trauma hospital
• Night shift, 10-hour shifts across a rotating weekly schedule
• Patient population includes neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Performs routine and specialized CT/X-Ray procedures
• Administers oral and/or IV contrast
• Assists physicians with procedures as needed
• Uses Cerner EMR and Change Healthcare PACS (preferred)

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
• Current CT certification (ARRT) required
• GE equipment experience required
• Cerner and Change Healthcare PACS experience preferred
• IEMA license required (license required if applicable)
• Illinois state license required
• COVID and flu vaccination required; declinations will not be approved

Additional Information

• Utilizes appropriate scanning protocols and adjusts technical factors based on age-specific needs
• Maintains supplies, equipment, and work areas for readiness
• Completes documentation according to facility guidelines
• Adheres to Radiation Safety and ALARA standards
• Demonstrates courteous, professional communication consistent with hospital customer service standards
• No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested during the assignment
