Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 1+ year of experience and Level II Trauma experience to perform combined CT and X-ray exams on night shift.
Details
- Performs combined CT and X-ray imaging overnight
- Supports adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient populations
- Trauma and stroke patient experience required
- 4x10 night shift schedule, 8:00 PM-6:30 AM Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and 6:00 PM-6:30 AM Saturday
- Weekend shifts required
- Call required, shared among staff
- May float between service lines and to sister facilities per unit needs
- Uses GE and Siemens imaging equipment
- Charts in Epic
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of CT Tech experience required
- ARRT(CT) and ARRT(R) certification required
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- License required if applicable
- Level II Trauma Center experience required
- Level I Trauma experience preferred
- Teaching and community hospital experience preferred
- Experience with image display and post-processing, including 3D rendering, MPR, and ROI measurement
- Experience with abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/MSK, and chest CT studies
- Skilled in contrast media preparation and administration
- Proficient in peripheral IV starts and venipuncture
- Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE
Additional Information
- First-time travelers considered if experience requirements are met
- Gray scrubs required
- Completion of facility-specific training modules required within the first week of assignment
- Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate if residing within 75 miles of the facility
