Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week night/day rotating assignment requiring a PA or Compact RN license and at least 1 year of MS/Tele experience.

Details

• Medical Surgical unit setting in a hospital environment
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• 3x12 shift schedule rotating between day and night shifts
• Every other weekend required
• No floating required within scope
• Cerner charting system experience preferred

Requirements

• Active PA or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Minimum 1 year of MS/Tele experience required
• Experience with nasal cannula, oxygen administration, and oxygen tank use required
• MS/Tele experience preferred
• Valid driver's license required for submission
• SSN and DOB required for submission

Additional Information

• Navy blue scrubs required
• Candidates must be available to work every other holiday
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Locals not accepted; must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Former permanent employees must have been separated for at least 2 years to be eligible
• Travelers limited to a cumulative one-year assignment within the health system, followed by a required two-year break before returning
• Block scheduling accommodations are subject to manager approval based on unit needs
• Two supervisor references preferred
• All time off requests must be submitted at the time of application
