Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a 21-bed general medical observation unit, requiring 2 years of specialty experience and comfort with Bi-Pap and high flow O2.
Details
- Work in a 21-bed general medical observation/telemetry unit (4 West)
- Patient population includes COPD, pneumonia, infections, and UTI cases
- Requires comfort managing patients on Bi-Pap and high flow O2
- Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts
- Every other weekend required
- Floating within scope to similar units
- Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred
Requirements
- Active IL RN license required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only)
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry required
- 2 professional references from similar experience (1-2 years) required
Additional Information
- Provide telemetry-level nursing care to general medical observation patients
- Must have a verifiable permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility with no exceptions
- No local candidates will be considered
- RTO must be submitted along with candidate profile
