Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 3+ years of OR experience and IN or compact RN licensure.
Details
- Operating Room department located on the 2nd Floor North of the hospital
- 10-OR surgical suite supporting General, Orthopedic, Spine, Neuro, GYN, ENT, Robotics, Urology, Podiatry, Vascular, and Open Heart cases
- Works with a variety of OR equipment
- Uses EPIC EMR
- Schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7:00am-7:30pm (3x12-hour day shifts)
- Weekend hours required every Saturday and Sunday
- Call requirements include weekday, weekend, and holiday call
- No floating required
Requirements
- Active RN license (IN or Compact) required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- 3+ years of recent Operating Room experience required
- EKG interpretation skills required
- Robotics training preferred
- Vascular and open heart experience preferred but not required
Additional Information
- Provide perioperative nursing care across a wide range of surgical specialties
- Hospital-provided scrubs for surgery areas; must follow facility dress code policy
- Candidates should be positive, adaptable self-starters who can anticipate needs and go with the flow
- Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are accepted at a reduced bill rate
