Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level 2 trauma center, requiring 2+ years of specialty experience and ARRT-CT certification.
Details
- Level 2 trauma center CT Scan department
- Performs trauma, stroke, cardiovascular, procedural, and routine CT exams
- Treats neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients across emergency, inpatient, and outpatient services
- Uses Siemens CT scanners
- 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM (Thurs/Fri/Sat)
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT specialty
- BLS certification required
- ARRT-CT certification required
- License required if applicable
- Proficiency operating computerized tomography equipment across all patient age groups
Additional Information
- Operates CT equipment to produce diagnostic images for a wide range of patient types and clinical scenarios
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
- Returning perm staff applying as travelers must have a 2-year break in service
- RTO must be requested upfront and cannot be requested after offer
