Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for a general cardiac catheterization lab, requiring at least 1 year of cath lab experience with scrub competency strongly preferred.
Details
- General Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory setting
- Four 10-hour shifts per week from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
- Rotating call schedule including approximately one weekend per month
- Full-time assignment over a 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
- Ability to scrub, circulate, and support physicians during procedures independently
- BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA)
- Current applicable licensure and certifications; license required if applicable
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Additional Information
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
- Maintain a safe and sterile procedural environment
- Monitor patients and respond appropriately to clinical changes
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary cardiovascular team to ensure high-quality patient care
- Candidates with strong scrub skills are especially encouraged to apply
