Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med-Surg Acute Care/Observation night shift position requiring a CO or Compact RN license and acute care experience.
Details
- Acute Care/Med-Surg Adult and Observation unit in a hospital setting
- Patient population includes ortho surgical, hybrid cath lab, and acute/chronic illness cases
- 12-hour night shifts including weekend rotation
- Call rotation required, with one call shift per 2-week period in place of guaranteed hours when requested due to staffing needs
Requirements
- Active CO or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Minimum of 2 years of Acute Care, Med-Surg, or Telemetry RN experience required
- Current flu vaccine required October 1st through April 1st with no exemptions
- Copy of Nursys license verification required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care to patients with critical disease states using the nursing process to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate care
- Facility housing may be available directly through the facility, subject to availability
- Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
