Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Float Pool RN for night shift work, requiring an active OH or compact RN license and at least one year of combined specialty experience.

Details

• Nursing position within a hospital's MS/Tele Float unit
• Night shift schedule (4x12 hours, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM)
• 13-week assignment length
• Floats across medical-surgical and telemetry units as needed

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact license in hand at time of consideration
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required and active
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in the specialty required
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked in the past 12 months
• No pending certifications accepted
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with a maximum of two attempts

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care across medical-surgical and telemetry units as a float nurse
• Expected to work every other holiday
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required with medical/religious exemptions only
• Background check hits are reviewed but open cases will not be accepted
• Professional license hits are not accepted
• Permanent candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• First-time travelers are not required for this position
• RTO must be discussed and finalized prior to consideration
