Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a busy hospital's weekend block night shift, requiring ARRT CT and ARRT R certification with at least 1 year of experience.

Details

• Level II Trauma Center setting across adult and pediatric acute care, outpatient, ICU, and emergency department
• Patient population ranges from infant to geriatric
• Patient ratio of 1:3
• Weekend block schedule: 3x12 hour night shifts (Fri 7p-7a, Sat 7p-7a, Sun 7p-7a)
• On-call required approximately 2 shifts per month
• Uses GE CT equipment and PACS imaging system
• Performs CT studies including abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine, musculoskeletal, cardiac, and vascular imaging
• Performs special procedures such as coronary CTA, brain perfusion, CT arthrography, myelography, and transplant studies

Requirements

• ARRT CT, ARRT R, and BLS certification required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum of 1 year of CT experience required
• Skilled in image display and post-processing, including 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement
• Experience with peripheral IV starts and contrast media preparation/administration
• Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE
• Previous travel experience preferred
• EPIC experience preferred

• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rate
• Previous employees must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
