Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift critical care position requiring a WI or compact RN license and at least 2 years of ICU experience.

Details

• Work in the Critical Care-ICU unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30 with every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Contract lengths from 13 to 26 weeks accepted
• CVICU and Neuro experience preferred but not required
• May float within skill set to Neuro ICU and Burn ICU
• May receive patient assignments in Med/Surg/IMC if needed
• May be required to float onsite or to other facilities within 40 miles
• Uses EPIC EMR

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA required)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Must provide a US Social Security Number and US home address

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing within ICU, with flexibility to float to other ICU specialties or lower-acuity units as needed
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from the facility
• All positions are auto-offer
• Clinicians should discuss contract extensions with their manager at least 45 days before the assignment end date
• COVID vaccination is not required
