Description
American Traveler is seeking an RN for an Operating Room position requiring 2+ years of experience and exposure to a wide variety of surgical specialties.
Details
- Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
- Rotates through a wide variety of specialties including spine, robotics, ortho, plastics, general, bariatrics, and pediatric dental depending on daily need
- Shift schedule of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 07:00-19:30
- 13-week assignment length
- No on-call requirement, though willingness to help cover call gaps is appreciated
Requirements
- Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Nursys primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
Additional Information
- Rotates across multiple surgical specialties based on daily operating room needs
- Radius rule applies which may affect local candidate eligibility for travel pay rate
- Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate based on facility-specific radius requirements
- Candidates should discuss assignment extensions with their manager at least 45 days before the end date
