Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with hospital or physician office experience for a PRN day shift position supporting pulmonary function testing and DME services.

Details

• Work within a hospital respiratory therapy department
• Day shift 12-hour PRN schedule with potential for night shift flexibility
• 36 hours per week across 3 days
• On-call required
• May float to various units and a nearby sister hospital
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• RRT or CRT from NRBC required
• New Jersey Respiratory Therapist license (RCP) required - license required if applicable
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of hospital or physician office experience required
• Graduate of a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Computer literacy required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care with emphasis on pulmonary function testing and initiation of CPAP devices
• Support continued supply of durable medical equipment such as oxygen concentrators and nebulizers
• Assist in training patients on inhaler use and set up DME equipment
• Work closely with physicians as part of the care team
