Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift MRI Technologist with 1+ years of experience and ARRT(R) certification for a hospital-based imaging role.

Details

• Inpatient and outpatient MRI imaging in a hospital setting
• 1 MRI room with approximately 20 visits per day
• Night shift, 4x10 hours, 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM
• EPIC charting experience required
• Candidates will float as needed
• Uses GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba MRI equipment with PACS

Requirements

• ARRT(R) and BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience required
• NY state license required upon start (license required if applicable)
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Experience with abdomen, pelvis, chest, breast, head and neck, brain, and spine imaging
• Proficiency with diffusion imaging, gradient echo imaging, perfusion, and multiplanar reconstruction
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and proper PPE use

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this role
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
• Candidates with more than 10 days of requested RTO will not be considered
• Previous employees must have a 6-month system-wide separation before returning
• Performs MRI imaging across adult acute care and outpatient settings including abdominal, chest, breast, head/neck, brain, and spine studies
