Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with 3+ years of inpatient/outpatient experience and pediatric/PICU experience for a 13-week assignment.

Details

• Inpatient, outpatient, and ED patient population
• Pediatric and PICU patient experience required
• Evening shift, 5x7.5 hours from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
• Performs C-arm, portable abdomen, and portable chest procedures
• Uses GE and Siemens imaging equipment along with PACS system
• Must work or provide on-call coverage for 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years inpatient and/or outpatient experience required
• BLS required
• NJ license required (or Compact license), required if applicable
• ARRT-R certification preferred
• Fluoroscopy permit preferred
• Epic experience preferred
• Experience with abdomen/GI imaging, lower and upper extremity imaging, spine and pelvis imaging, and chest/thorax imaging
• Experience with fluoroscopy studies such as barium swallow, contrast enema, and upper GI series preferred
• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include infection prevention, isolation precautions/PPE, preparation and administration of contrast media, and radiation safety
• Black scrubs required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Former employees of the health system must be separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
