Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift community hospital position requiring 2+ years of adult critical care experience.

Details

• 13-week assignment in the Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit of a community hospital
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 1830-0700
• Weekend work required
• No on-call requirements
• May float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals

Requirements

• NBRC RRT credential with license to practice in OH required if applicable
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Skilled in adult critical care and emergency department settings
• Experience with airway management, bronchoscopy assisting, and ventilator management required
• Proficient in BiPAP and CPAP management
• Skilled in ABG sampling and interpretation
• Experience in all other modalities of respiratory care required

• Black scrubs required for this unit
• Limited holiday RTO, with only 1 day permitted to be requested surrounding a single holiday
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility will be considered at the local rate
