Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a Level 1 trauma hospital, requiring strong scrub experience and KS or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Operating Room setting within a Level 1 trauma hospital
• Day shift schedule of 4x10s (06:30-17:00), Tuesday through Friday
• No weekend requirement aside from on-call duties
• On-call required, up to 6 shifts per 13-week contract
• Holiday coverage required if a holiday falls on a scheduled workday
• Floating required to all OR units
• EPIC EMR training provided during orientation

Requirements

• Active KS or Compact RN license
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Strong scrub experience required
• Experience with DaVinci robot cases, large head and neck cases, neuro spine, and ex lap cases required
• Experience in ortho, general, trauma, gyn, urology, or plastics preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• New graduates not accepted

Additional Information

• Perform surgical scrub duties across a variety of complex case types in a high-acuity trauma setting
• Participate in new employee orientation (Mon/Tues) followed by department of nursing orientation and EPIC training (Wed-Fri)

• Local and travel candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Credentials due one week prior to start date on Mondays
