Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT) certification for a 13-week contract supporting inpatient, outpatient, and ED CT procedures.

Details

Radiology department supporting inpatient, outpatient, and ED patient types
1:1 patient ratio
CT procedures include Head/Neck, Chest, Abdomen, Pelvis, Spine, Extremities, CTAs, Drainage, Biopsies, and Brain Perfusions
Uses Cerner EMR, Philips Enterprise PACS, GE CT Optima 660 64 Slice scanner, and contrast power injection system
10-hour mid shifts on a 7on/7off schedule running Thursday through Wednesday
Shift times are 1:30pm-2:00am or 3:30pm-2:00am depending on the day
Two CT Techs scheduled during the 3:30p-2a shift
Every other weekend worked as part of the 7on/7off rotation
No floating required
No on-call requirements

Requirements

ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT) certification required, license required if applicable
BLS certification required
Minimum of 1 year experience required; candidates with only 1 year experience will not be accepted
Experience with CT procedures across head/neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and extremities
Experience with CTA studies, drainage and biopsy procedures, and brain perfusion imaging
Cerner EMR experience preferred

Additional Information

First-time travelers will be considered for this role
Orientation consists of 1-2 shifts
One major and one minor seasonal holiday coverage expected per policy, though specific dates off are not contractually guaranteed
Requests for time off beyond 7 days must be submitted via email for approval
Scrubs of any color are permitted
Free parking available on site
Candidates must live outside a 65-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
Former permanent staff must wait 6 months before being considered for a travel assignment
