Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience and current ARRT certification for an outpatient breast center setting.
Details
- Outpatient breast center within a hospital's radiology department
- Team of 8 technologists managing the daily breast center workload
- Uses Hologic mammography equipment and Epic EMR
- Monday through Friday schedule, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Weekend shifts may be required at the discretion of the unit leader
- No on-call requirements
- No floating required
Requirements
- Current ARRT certification required
- ISDH Tech license required (if applicable)
- Minimum 2 years of recent mammography experience required
- Proficiency in general breast imaging procedures required
- Experience with Hologic equipment preferred
- No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Responsible for completing requested imaging exams in a timely manner within a team-oriented environment
- Must be motivated and willing to fill in on various shifts if staffing needs arise
- Grey scrub color required
- Local candidates welcome within a 50-mile radius at a reduced rate
