Description
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an Acute Care Hospital setting, requiring 1+ year of experience and NBCOT certification.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting treating mild stroke, weakness, gait abnormalities, fractures, and orthopedic surgery patients
- All trauma cases are sent out to other facilities
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Thursday through Monday work week
- Meditech charting experience highly preferred
Requirements
- State OT license required (must be in hand or already applied); license required if applicable
- BLS and NBCOT certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
Additional Information
- Holiday coverage is required with minimal RTO requested at time of consideration
- First-time travelers accepted at the same rate
- Travel pairs are accepted
- Candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible for consideration
- Former permanent employees must wait 12 months before returning as travelers
