Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room contract position requiring 2+ years of OR experience with Ortho, General, and Robotics-DaVinci cases plus Epic proficiency.

Details

• Operating Room setting within a hospital
• Surgical cases include Orthopedic, General, and Robotics-DaVinci procedures
• Day shift schedule, 10-12 hour shifts from 0630-1700 or 0630-1900
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call requirements, though volunteering to help out is welcomed
• 30-minute lunch break required
• 4 hours of non-billable orientation

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• Current CPR certification (BLS) required; American Heart or American Red Cross accepted
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
• Experience with Ortho, General, and Robotics-DaVinci surgical cases required
• Epic EMR experience required and must be noted in employment history
• At least one successfully completed travel contract required
• Scrub experience preferred
• Two current professional references from a Supervisor, Manager, or Charge within the last year required
• At least one travel reference preferred
• Full SSN required for consideration
