Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a critical access hospital, requiring 1+ year of experience and both CT and general x-ray proficiency.

Details

Critical access hospital with 23 staffed beds
Performs CT, portable x-ray, and general x-ray exams
Daily caseload of 1 CT, 2 portables, and 1 x-ray room per tech
Average of 15 patients per day across CT and x-ray modalities
Patient population includes pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric cases
Handles trauma and general CT cases, excluding CTA hearts and brain perfusion
4x10 hour day shifts, Friday-Monday, 10:00-20:00
Floats within scope between CT and general x-ray to meet facility needs
No floating to sister facilities
No on-call requirement, but willingness to be on-call is noted as a plus
Uses Epic for charting and GE equipment

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
ARRT or ARRT Advanced Certification required
CT Advanced Certification required
BLS certification required
Nevada state license required (pending license accepted); license required if applicable
Experience with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
Epic and GE experience preferred
Skilled in abdomen, pelvis, chest, and spine/musculoskeletal CT imaging with and without contrast
Experience with CT arthrography and vascular CTA preferred
Proficient in contrast media preparation and administration
Skilled in starting peripheral IVs
Experience using PACS

RTO must be finalized and submitted with profile prior to offer and cannot be guaranteed
