Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager for a night shift position requiring Epic EMR experience and a CA RN license.

Details

• ED and inpatient Care Coordinator role in an acute hospital setting
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Performs discharge planning assessments, utilization review, and psychosocial assessments
• Conducts InterQual reviews and screens transfers for clinical appropriateness

Requirements

• Active CA RN license with current Nursys verification required at time of submittal
• Prior Case Management experience required
• Discharge planning assessment experience required
• Strong utilization review skills required
• Psychosocial assessment skills required
• Acute hospital setting experience required
• Recent Epic EMR experience required; facility will not provide training
• BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Valid driver's license with proof of current, permanent address required
• Two professional references required at supervisor level or above (Charge Nurses not accepted)
• Proof of required vaccinations required with submission

• Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are considered local and accepted at the local rate
• RTO must be submitted at time of application; no RTO accepted after submission, maximum 7 days
