Description
American Traveler is seeking an Inpatient Physical Therapist for a Level 3 Trauma Center in Sioux City, IA, requiring an active IA PT license and BLS certification.
Details
- Inpatient rehab unit at a Level 3 Trauma Center
- 5x8-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, 40-hour guarantee
- Weekend coverage requested as available, with flexed days off around weekend shifts
- No on-call requirements
- May float within the same discipline across local campuses
- Uses Epic EMR
- Compact license accepted
Requirements
- Active PT license required (license required if applicable)
- Current BLS certification required (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military accepted)
- Mandatory Reporter certification required
- Valid Driver's License required
- Supervisory reference/performance evaluation completed within the last two years required
Additional Information
- Contributes clinical knowledge and skills as part of an interdisciplinary care team
- Required to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day)
- Limited to 1 day off request during the winter holiday blackout periods
- Dark grey/charcoal scrub color required
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted
