Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 5 years of RN experience and AWHONN certification.

Details

• Labor and Delivery unit with Mother/Baby experience required
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 or 4x12 hours
• Working Labor Day and a weekend rotation required
• Floating within scope required as needed to meet facility needs
• Uses Meditech Expanse EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license (State or Compact) required in-hand prior to start
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Beginner
• RNC-OB certification preferred
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience required
• Prior Labor and Delivery plus Mother/Baby work setting experience required
• Meditech charting experience strongly preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care across Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby units
• Strong charting proficiency, time management, and team collaboration skills needed
• Good communication skills with providers required
• Accepts local candidates at local rate within an 80 mile radius
• Call outs permitted only if more than a week in advance
• Candidates should indicate holiday availability at time of consideration
• First-time travelers considered depending on experience level
