Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift assignment requiring 2+ years of CT experience and ARRT certification.

Details

• Hospital-based CT Scan department serving inpatient and outpatient populations
• Performs all types of CT scans with and without contrast, including CTAs with 3D reconstruction
• Uses Philips and GE CT scanners
• Night shift schedule, Monday-Thursday, rotating between 6:00 PM-6:00 AM and 9:00 PM-6:00 AM
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT experience required
• ARRT certification required (CT certification not required)
• Graduate of an accredited AMA radiography program
• State license required if applicable
• Proficient in routine diagnostic CT scanning including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities
• Experience with biopsy and drainage procedures
• Knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, contrast media studies, and cross-sectional anatomy
• Skilled in basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging

Additional Information

• Provides timely diagnostic imaging services under the direction of a radiologist and departmental protocols
• Works within a hospital radiology department supporting both inpatient and outpatient cases
• Must not have gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Not eligible if previously employed as permanent staff at any Community Health Systems facility within the past 2 years
• RTO requests must be less than one week
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
