Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring high-risk maternal and circulating OR/triage experience at a Level 4 maternal designated center.

Details

• 13-week contract assignment on a night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Level 4 designated maternal center caring for the most complex patients at any gestational age
• Unit has 22 beds, including 16 labor beds, staffed by approximately 100 RNs and support staff
• Patient ratios of 1:2 and 1:1
• Typical procedures include vaginal and cesarean deliveries, tubal ligations, cerclage placement/removal, D&C, C-hyst, and PASD cases
• Uses CPN and Meditech EMR systems
• No on-call requirements
• Requires working 4 weekend shifts per schedule

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, AWHONN (Intermediate or Advanced) or NCC-EFM, and NRP Advanced 9th Edition certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Labor & Delivery required
• Experience with high-risk maternal patients required
• Circulating operating room and triage experience required
• 5+ years of experience preferred
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required
• No employment gaps of 90+ days or more within the past 12 months
