Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Inpatient Rehab RN for a weekend night shift assignment requiring an active IL RN license and prior rehab or medical-surgical nursing experience.
Details
- Inpatient Rehabilitation unit within a hospital setting
- Performs similar duties to a medical-surgical floor, excluding heparin drip administration
- High neuro patient population with frequent stroke recovery cases
- Night shift schedule, 7 pm to 7 am
- Weekend rotation of every third weekend, covering Friday and Saturday nights
- Some flexibility available for Sunday shifts if needed
Requirements
- Active Illinois RN license required
- Current BLS/BCLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
- Stroke certification preferred but not required
Additional Information
- Assess patients' mental, physical, and spiritual needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Provide patient and family education and instructions
- Recognize and report changes in patient condition using clinical judgment
- Maintain complete and accurate medical records
- Participate in continuing education opportunities
- Contribute to a positive team environment through professional communication
