Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - Operating Room with at least 2 years of recent General OR experience and multi-specialty surgical background for an afternoon shift position with no weekends, call, or holidays required.

Details

• General OR unit in an acute and sub-acute care hospital setting
• Afternoon shift, 10-hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call requirements
• No holiday coverage required
• 40 hours guaranteed per week

Requirements

• Active RN license (MD or Compact) required at time of consideration
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of recent General OR experience required
• Experience in GYN, bariatrics, vascular, ortho, neuro, and plastics surgical specialties required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Must be willing to work the facility's schedule without restrictions
• Flu vaccination required with no declinations accepted
• COVID vaccination required with no declinations accepted (state record required)

Additional Information

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards
• Accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others under their direction
• Utilizes specialized clinical knowledge and judgment to provide age-appropriate care
• Local candidates accepted with no radius rule or rate change
• RTO requests limited to the equivalent of one week of contracted hours
• First-time travelers not considered due to required previous travel experience
