Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years experience in IR procedures and ARRT advanced certification for a vascular interventional radiology role.

Details

Interventional Radiology department setting
Monday through Friday rotating schedule from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM with one day off every other week
Call requirements based on department needs, currently 2 weekday call shifts plus rotating weekend call shared with another facility
On-call coverage required as needed for holidays
May float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
Uses EPIC EMR

Requirements

Current BLS certification (AHA)
Advanced certification through ARRT in CI, CV, or VI
WI Radiographer License required if applicable
Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably in critical care or procedural setting
Experience with IR procedures such as angiography, embolization, biopsies, drainage procedures, and vascular access highly desirable
Solid understanding of sterile technique and radiation safety protocols
Strong mainframe and PC skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Good organizational and strong analytical skills
EPIC experience required

Additional Information

Strong background in patient care and proficiency with various medical equipment and imaging technologies required
Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate due to facility radius rule
