Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years experience in IR procedures and ARRT advanced certification for a vascular interventional radiology role.

Details

• Interventional Radiology department setting
• Monday through Friday rotating schedule from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM with one day off every other week
• Call requirements based on department needs, currently 2 weekday call shifts plus rotating weekend call shared with another facility
• On-call coverage required as needed for holidays
• May float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
• Uses EPIC EMR

Requirements

• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Advanced certification through ARRT in CI, CV, or VI
• WI Radiographer License required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably in critical care or procedural setting
• Experience with IR procedures such as angiography, embolization, biopsies, drainage procedures, and vascular access highly desirable
• Solid understanding of sterile technique and radiation safety protocols
• Strong mainframe and PC skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Good organizational and strong analytical skills
• EPIC experience required
