Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level I trauma acute care hospital requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT-CT certification.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting including Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, ICU, and Emergency Department
• Level I trauma center with 562 staffed beds
• 4x10 hour evening shifts from 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM
• Every 3rd weekend required with 1 night of call per week
• On-call and holiday coverage required as needed
• No floating outside of scope
• Uses Cerner charting system
• Siemens CT equipment

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Tech experience required
• ARRT, ARRT-CT, and BLS certification required
• State license required if applicable
• Level I Trauma experience preferred
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Experience with Abdomen and Pelvis CT (with/without contrast)
• Experience with Chest CT including vascular chest imaging (PE, CTA, aorta)
• Experience with Head and Neck CT including carotid, sinuses, soft tissue neck, and trauma head
• Experience with Spine and Musculoskeletal CT including cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and trauma
• Experience with Coronary CTA
• Proficiency in 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement
• Skilled in contrast media preparation/administration, radiation safety, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols

• Time off requests must be discussed with the manager
• Previous permanent or PRN employees must be separated from the facility for at least 12 months before returning as a traveler
