Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience in general and vascular MRI for a role in a Level 1 Trauma Center, teaching hospital setting.

Details

• Inpatient and outpatient MRI unit with 3 beds (2 inpatient, 1 outpatient)
• Patient population includes inpatient and outpatient general MRI and vascular cases
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Siemens MRI equipment used
• EPIC EMR required
• 8-hour day shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 24 standard hours per week
• Every other weekend rotation
• Varying on-call requirements
• No floating required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACR certification required
• IEMA certification preferred
• License required if applicable
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Experience with general and vascular MRI required
• Siemens equipment experience preferred
• Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the last year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge title
• Candidate's middle name/initial, DOB, and last 4 of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center, Level II NICU, Primary Stroke Center, teaching hospital, and Magnet-designated with 273 beds
• 24/7 RT and Hospitalist support on the unit, with Supervisor oversight
• At least one orientation shift provided to learn unit flow
• Covid vaccine required
• Scrub color is Caribbean Blue

• Time off requests must be approved through the manager
• First-time travelers considered upon review
• No radius rules; local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Former Advocate Health employees must be separated at least 12 months before becoming eligible for travel assignments
