Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience performing both CT and X-Ray exams in outpatient and ED settings.

Details

• Perform both CT and X-Ray procedures
• Work in CT Tech unit supporting Adult and Pediatric Outpatient and Emergency Department settings
• 4x8 hour evening shifts, Monday through Thursday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
• May occasionally float to other facilities within the health system
• CT exams include Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Brain Perfusion, CTAs, and Multiplanar Reconstruction
• X-Ray exams include Extremities, Abdomen/GI, Spine/Pelvis, Head, Chest/Thorax, and Musculoskeletal
• ED exams include Outpatient CT and X-Ray, Cardiac CT (Pulmonary Vein CT, Cardiac Calcium Scores), and Perfusion studies
• Uses PACS, Siemens equipment, and portables
• Samsung X-Ray experience preferred
• EPIC EMR experience required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist required
• ARRT CT and ARRT R certification required
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Outpatient (Adult & Pediatric) and ED experience required
• Must be able to start peripheral IVs, averaging 8-9 per day
• Venipuncture skills required
• Experience with contrast media preparation and administration required
• Experience with infants and pediatric patients preferred
• PACS and Siemens equipment experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Image display and post-processing skills, including region of interest (ROI) measurement

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this role
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility, with no local rates offered
• All staff must pass a compliance EKG exam, with two attempts allowed
• Current driver's license required to verify address for radius eligibility
• RTO requests must be submitted with the initial application; no post-submission RTO accepted
