Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift assignment requiring ARRT(CT) certification and 2+ years of diagnostic imaging experience.

Details

Diagnostic Imaging department performing CT examinations and assisting with invasive CT procedures
Friday night through Sunday night shifts, 7PM-7:30AM
13-week assignment with 36 guaranteed hours
Includes coverage on Christmas Eve

Requirements

Active state license required if applicable
Current BLS certification
ARRT(CT) certification required
RVT, NMTCB, or CNMT certifications may apply
Minimum 2 years experience in diagnostic imaging setting
Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology from an AMA approved school
Registered by the ARRT in radiography and CT
Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and perform sedentary work with occasional walking and standing

Additional Information

Perform and document diagnostic CT examinations per healthcare provider orders
Administer oral and intravenous contrast media under physician direction or per protocol
Operate CT and related equipment as well as facility-based computer systems
Analyze CT examinations for quality control and prepare completed exams for radiologist interpretation
Transport, move, and position patients safely
Assist physicians with special CT procedures
Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities
Perform appropriate handoff and continuity of care communication
Must reside outside a 60 mile radius of the facility
